Death Cab For Cutie hit the stage just as the sun was beginning to set behind the gorge that night. The combination of the setting sunlight, their intense lights, and the fog machines wisping out streams of smoke made for an incredible atmosphere. At one point I even stopped shooting photos to just take in the moment passing in front of me. I am not the biggest Death Cab fan out there, but just the scene of these four men on the vast stage made me think of a type of “neon” war scene.
