We had met prior to this shoot to see what ideas one another had and how we were going to go about finding locations. At first we had planned on shooting at a small local garden in San Francisco and we had arranged a time to meet with one of the co-op owners, but he flaked (I know, big surprise) so we ended up driving across the bay to Marin and drove around the Headlands area to find various locations to shoot at.

We ended up finding a couple nice spots, old bunkers, eucalyptus groves, and military storage facilities. It was great shooting there and making use of the beautiful natural light provided by an unusually sunny fall afternoon. Before dropping her off back home we went passed the garden, which was closed earlier, to find out someone was there now and we made use of the opportunity and shot a few series of images.
